Any other delayed babies?

My sweet boy was diagnosed with a gross motor delay last week. He’s 8.5 months and still isn’t even rolling 😭 We start physical therapy next week. Anyone else in this boat? At least he’s cute 😂

My middle child has Down syndrome and has very low muscle tone. So at 3 ( on Valentine’s Day) he’s still not walking.

I haven’t but I’m starting to wonder if my little one is. He rolled tummy to back a handful of times but hasn’t in months and never back to front. What are they doing with you guys to help? How did they determine he was, is there just a series of questions or diagnostic tests?

My oldest has a motor skill delay. He’s 5 now and got diagnosed with dyspraxia. We never got pt but he’s been in it since he was three and has come a super long way. Your baby is the cutest and he’s gonna be fine mama

My oldest has a global developmental delay (delays in every area). We did PT for her gross motor delays and she loved it! They really try to make therapy super fun for kids so they enjoy going and want to participate. Since your little guy is a baby, you could qualify for in-home services which I always find super convenient. One thing I wish we had thought about more was taking breaks every so often. We hit therapy pretty hard for 5 years and burned out on it. Consider doing a rotating schedule (12-16 weeks on, 8 weeks off) so you don’t feel like all you do is therapy with your baby.
