Hi y’all, so I got the results I was expecting to get today. I was diagnosed with PCOS. So, we were talking over my options of where we should start. My doctor spoke of metformin, clomid , or femera. So, with that being said. Have any of you had any success with any of these ? Not sure where I want to start, or really what the difference is between them? Thanks!

What test did they do to find out u have pcos?

I have PCOS and we have one son. But that was after a year and a half of trying. We’ve been ttc #2 for 2 years active and nothing. I’m on metformin and I’ve seen a significant increase in regularity for my periods. I’ve also lost over 30 pounds on metformin in about 6 months. This will be my 5th round of femara ( letrozole) and nothing yet... I’d like to add I’m only 21 and have had issues with pcos since I was 14. I’m going for an cycle day 12 ultrasound to rule out a tubal issue when this period ever starts. (5 days late) 😥

I had horrible side effects with clomid. Never tried metmorfin. I’m on femara (letrzole) and prefer it over clomid anytime.

MetFormin is more to control blood sugars. Seems likely you could do that and one of the others. 
I’ve not heard great things about the side effects of clomid. But I’m in leterozole.
