What is good to use during periods pads or tampons? Please suggest I always confused for this

Pads are safer than tampons , they won’t cause toxic choc syndrome, however if you are careful you can use whichever one you want . I use tampons and just am careful changing regularly ( you can normally leave on a tampon on for up to 6 hours a day but I never leave it that long ) and taking  three showers when on my period just to be safe . Either depending on personal preference or activities of the day. I hate pads, they make me feel uncomfortable and they're messy to me so I've exclusively used tampons for about a decade. Other people favor pads and only use tampons when they want to swim while on their period. A friend of mine uses only menstrual cups and prefers them. 
It's not a one size fits all thing. No one hygiene product is best. It's what works best for what woman at the time.

Only reason why I use tampons is because I don’t like the squishy feeling a pad give’s me. I worry about smell and I don’t like the thought of sitting in blood. They have organic tampons now. I’ve always used Kotex, but I’m thinking of switching to something more natural.

I’d pick a pad over a tampon because toxic shock but I do also use menstrual cups too sometimes
