Just a rant
People act like a simple mistake punishable by law. We're all humans, we make a mistake. If something is slightly misspelt, it's not the end of the world. If something is accidently sent to the wrong email address (still your address, but not the exact one you are using) then it's not the end of the world. If someone is a bit late but they've been to in touch to advice, it's not the end of the world.
So sick of ME somehow taking the blame for things other people are not doing! If I send a spreadsheet LAST Tuesday for someone else's comments, and THEY were meant to send to the client after adding their comments as per the instruction, why am *I* getting moaned at that we are messing the client around?
So sick of our boss throwing us under the bus to clients. So sick of not meeting expectations HE doesn't even stick to. He wants to bitch that when he sends five questions in a row and we don't answer them all within a minute or (literally, a minute or two) must he worry about our communication BUT I've been asking him something for WEEKS and he is ignoring me, only for me to find out today it's not done!!!
Tells me he has purposely *LET* me do the wrong thing to finish a job. No you *LET* me do it because you accepted the money for it without discussing the logistics and the client didn't want to be involved afterwards because YOU made it our problem.
*I'm not just talking about me. I'm talking about all the things my coworkers and I have gotten into major trouble for over the past few weeks.
