So its a pretty long story, and I have all of 3 hours to make a decision.

My ex, hasnt paid any child support except like 2 payments in 2015 of $26. So needless to say hes behind like 24k . Hes been arrested I think 5 times, most recently I think is #6. We have no contact, he doesnt see my son...he saw him maybe 4 times when my son was born and as far as my son knows, My husband is 'dad'.

So I get this phone call yesterday stating hes been arrested (ive never recieved a call like this before) and it stated hes been arrested, and will be in front of Judge..whoever today 2/12 at 10:30am, if i wanted to attend the hearing, it will be held in room..xyz. I was confuesed and looked up inmate records for our county jail and low and behold... There was his name, inmate number and bail at a little under 13k.

I have mixed feelings as to what I should do and I have half the people in my life saying to go and show you arent giving up and some saying let it go.

On one hand, I think to myself, let that door of the past stay closed and those feelings stay burried. We all know I wont see a dime from him anyway.

Or..

Fight for what my son deserves, for what I deserve. Obviously raising a kid is far from cheap, and the daily expenses. This man needs to be held accountable for his actions and to not let him continue to skate by in life without paying a dime, getting a slap on the wrist with an empty promise of making a payment or having repercussions for his actions?
