I'm trying to decide if I should have a shower or not...my husband and I live in a different state from all of our family. We have a couple close friends here in PA, but most of them are his army buddies and their wives. I went home to CO in January and my family threw me a very sweet small surprise shower. So I dont feel like I'm completely missing out. But my MIL wasnt there(they live in TN) and this is her first grandbaby.

Basically I really dont have anyone to throw one for me, so I'll be throwing it for myself. And I dont know really how many people I have to come to it. But my MIL really wants to be part of one, and I do want to celebrate with our few friends here. I just dont know how to make it happen. Anyone else is a similar situation, being alone in a new state with few friends? What did you do?
