My toddler uses whatever pillow we have in our bed because we co-sleep

We gave our 18m old a regular pillow. But it was pretty flat and we put it underneath her bed sheets so it didn’t move around on her.

We just used a regular pillow. It covered the whole head part in her toddler bed so it worked well🤷‍♀️ I didn't realize they had toddler pillows until after my 2nd baby 🙈

We used a toddler pillow first (IKEA has a great, flat small one) and then switched to a flatter regular sized pillow and twin sized bed when she was 3.

We gave our daughter a toddler pillow after she fell in love with one of the little pillows they give out on oversea flights, around 18 month. She’s going to be 3 in a few weeks and just stole my husbands (very flat/fluffy/squeezable) king sized pillow, and now sleeps with both.

My son was given a smaller pillow that went with his new bedding at 1 during this time if he fell asleep on the couch or in my bed he used whatever pillow was there. Once he hit 2 he was in a toddler bed with a regular sized pillow.

We have our son a toddler pillow at like 15 months I think? The other ones just seem way too big! He’s moving to a real bed in a few weeks (currently 2.5) and we’ll do a real pillow in his bed.
