Would my husbands fathers felony affect us getting approved for adoption? (Sex offender giving a receiving pictures of minors(young children))

It’s his father who has the felony. Not my husband

I have no contact with him I refuse to see him or even hear about him.

However my husband visit him on holidays and talks to every so often. ( he refuses to believe it’s real. His dad convinced him and his siblings that the police set him up. His siblings don’t believe the lie anymore he does.)

I told my husband before we even got married that my children will NEVER be alone with him without me there.

This has no become and issue because there is a high chance I am infertile and will be unable to conceive or even carry a child of my own.
