How long did you wait to tell your significant other?

How/when did you decide to tell your significant other after getting a positive test? I want to surprise my husband in a special Way but I can’t keep a secret haha

I woke up super early as I couldn’t sleep so I took a test and it was so clear, I bashed the door open and shouted it’s positive!! He sat up with his eyes barely open and hair all scruffy and then realised what I had said!! 
Did plan to do a surprise box for him but I didn’t last a minute keeping the secret🙈
Still such a special memory telling him early morning💕
So my advice would be if you don’t think you can wait then don’t! It’ll be magical however you do it❤️

Later that day - put our daughter in a “promoted to big sister” shirt. With our first it was 10 days before Christmas so I had a decorative box and put a onesie and the tests in their and said I have an early Christmas gift

I waited long enough to confirm with a second test before waking him up at 4am and happy crying. He was barely conscious but had a huuuge smile on his face and it was the best.
We had spoken before we started trying about if he cared if I surprised him and he asked me to just tell him once I knew. 😊

I'm planning on giving him a positive test on Valentine's Day! We aren't gonna do gifts but I'll just say I had to give him this little thing. 😉

Told him right away. Although I did put the stick in a shopping bag and asked him to look at what I bought. It was a nice little surprise 😉
