I’m 38 weeks 2 days and having a sweep tomorrow I’m currently 3cm dilated and waters are bulging with a stretchy cervix, any of you ladies had a sweep why already dilated and has it worked? It’s my first pregnancy❤️

I had a sweep at 38 weeks (due to preeclampsia). I was only 1cm dilated and was that way for about 3 weeks, and my water broke 2 hours later unexpectedly !

I got a sweep and went into labor that night.

I had a sweep and my water broke the next day, but after 16 hours I was only dilated to 3-4 and there were signs my baby was developing an infection, so we went for a C-section. I don't think I'd opt for a sweep again.

I had 3 sweeps. 39+6, 40, & 40+1 and he was born 40+4. So none of the sweeps worked. Just made me cramp
