that's hard, ideally i'd rather have both as my parents' do so it's what i'm used to, but at the end of the day probably bigger bedrooms. i don't spend as much time in the kitchen as i do in my room.

Bigger living area, but within reason. I hate when bedrooms are so small you can’t put normal bedroom furniture in them and still move around the room.

I have a giant round chair and cannot fit it in my living room. It's my favorite chair.  I would love more living space

As long as I’m able to fit a decent sized bed, a dresser and some closet space, I don’t need a huge bedroom.

Bigger kitchen/living room. Most of the time all you do in the bedroom is sleep, but you generally spend most of your time in the living room

Bigger bedrooms since that's where I study and I need space for everything. That's for when I move out being single though, if I have kids one day I will pick bigger living area.

I guess I chose bigger bedrooms. The kitchen isn't small, but isn't as big as I would have liked. And we have a great room on one floor that we use as a living room that's a little small (our giant sectional takes up a big chunk of it), but we have a family room on the floor below (which I have set up for the kids and as a gaming room) so we still have plenty of space for everyone
