Will my son spit out a pacifier if he starts to not be able to breathe?
I know this is probably a stupid question. So I apologize. But I'll insert a picture of the pacifier my 7 month old takes. I know I need to get rid of it, or move on to the 6 months+ paci's but he sleeps awful without it. Ok anyways, he takes it out and puts it back in throughout the night..should I be concerned if he puts it back in with the solid part without holes against his nose? Will he have the instinct to spit it out if it obstructs his breathing?
I'll add, the only reason I'm worried now at 7 months is because he has figured out how to put it back in recently. It was always my husband or myself putting it back in before, so we knew we were putting it in correctly.
