So my SO and I just got into it. We have been together 2 years and know each other for 14. We have talked about getting married someday. I told him I didnt want to marry anyone that had any doubt in their mind that there was someone better out there for them. I mentioned that I always say there is no one else on the planet that I'd want to spend my life with and that is better for me than him and I dont feel like its reciprocated. He said if I looked I could because there are billions of people out there and he is thinking logically and that if he looked there is someone out there that's better for him but wants me and doesnt want anyone else. It really hurts to hear your man tell you that there is probably someone better but they will settle for you. In case its asked we are between 37-42.
