Placenta previa (partial)
In hospital overnight for bleeding and clot. The ultrasound showed marginal placenta previa. Which means that my placenta is up against my cervix, on the side. This is what caused the hemorrhage. They are monitoring me overnight because in addition to that, my hemoglobin level was low and the two together are not good apparently. As long as the bleeding is under control tomorrow and the maternal fetal ultrasound tech doesn’t show the placenta covering the cervix completely, I’ll be going home before noon. The bed in this hospital is like sleeping on a rock. I can’t get comfy. I have a headache on top of it from all the worry.
