Hello ladies! For college I have to write a persuasive essay and the topic I’m choosing is maternity leave. In my state in the U.S there’s no minimum paid leave law. We get FMLA if we choose unpaid 12 weeks. Some states and countries have different policies. My essay will be about how there should be a MINIMUM 8 weeks paid on top of FMLA if chosen to take and up to the company if they want to give more paid leave. Wanted to hear everyone’s in sight about this topic to get my brain juices flowing! Also I will add I’m not quoting anyone that comments and I’m doing my own research just thought this would be an interesting topic to talk about with other people.
