Our house has never been spotless. We moved in when our oldest was a month old and have had lots of issues with work/school/kids. My hubby is in rehab and while his family has been helpful, his mom and sisters want to come clean my house and throw away a bunch of stuff because “he needs to come home to a perfect house or he’ll end up back where he is”. Are you kidding me??? Yes I’m trying to get things in some better order now but saying stuff like that is hurtful and makes me feel like I should just peace out on the whole thing. Being a “single mom” these past few weeks has made me realize I don’t need anyone. When he was here he would say stuff like “I’m the man, you guys should all cater to me”. I’m starting a job next week that will quadruple my income. He can cater to his damn self!
