I have permission from my friend to post on this app and try to get some answers bc the doctor/nurses are not answering calls and she’s freaking herself out. She has had 2 past miscarriages, she just found out she’s pregnant by 2 home pregnancy tests that clearly show positive. I told her to call her ob immediately and tell them she needs blood work done and to check her progesterone levels, they had her come in yesterday and she woke up with these results. I know that these are very low, anybody who’s been through this before, would they be able to give her the progesterone or is it too late? She’s a few days late from her period but has had no bleeding or cramping so far. But I know that progesterone can’t prevent a miscarriage if it’s already happening but she hasn’t showed any signs of miscarriage. They also have her taking baby aspirin. By these levels would u say this pregnancy won’t make it or does she still have a chance if they give her the pills by today? Also, she didn’t get hcg levels back and I asked her if they even took them and she said they were only checking progesterone - WHAT?!?! I told her if they didn’t check for hcg levels they’re idiots. They didn’t even get a pee test from her either.
