Anyone's child adding a Y to the end of words?
Recently Olive has decided that she is going to end her a lot words with a y. Words she used to say properly too lol. Hug became huggy, kiss became kissy she hurt her leg and said "ow leggy leggy hurt" 😂 and so on. We never baby talked her and the only other words I can think of that might have started it are kitty, doggy, daddy, mommy and bunny.
I'm just asking because I'm curious if other babes are doing the same. Should I correct it and try to get her to say it properly instead? I don't want to be uptight about it because she is already advanced language wise and it is actually very cute haha I'm sure she just likes the sound and is experimenting 😊 thanks in advance for any comments!
