Dog people
When do you know it's time to put your dog to sleep? We have a massive retriever/lab mix who is 12. He's started falling down stairs and cries, which is heartbreaking to see. He also is a dog who loves food and has hardly been eating the last week. He'll hardly ever walk in our kitchen anymore because he's scared of walking of falling on our hardwood floors. He also refusing to walk into our garage most of the time because he's scared about falling on the concrete. He still gets super excited to go on walks though. He doesnt do very well with them, but I still consider it that he still has quality of life, maybe. Idk what to do. My family and I aren't prepared to lose him, but I also dont want him to suffer.
