How do you deal with family members who play obvious favoritism with the children of the family? My significant others family is unfortunately really difficult to deal with and very fake/two faced. His brother and his girlfriend have a daughter who’s almost 3, and everyone treats her the absolute best like she’s just an angel sent from God himself. And don’t get me wrong, I love her as my niece too..but shes not the only niece/nephew/grandchild yet she’s treated as if she is like she’s most important. I’m currently pregnant and I just KNOW my child is going to be treated different and unfairly and it makes me really upset. Me and my significant other can already see it.

Does anyone else deal with a situation like this in their family? If so how do you go about dealing with it?
