Went and saw a new doctor this morning. Given my family history or cancer, he told me it would be better for me to come off the pill and get an IUD. He said with the pill, it can raise the risk of breast cancer and certain medications can counter act the pill. What are some of the good, the bad and the ugly with the IUD? Obviously pregnancy is concern. One of my friends got pregnant on it, another friend of mine, three of her friends got pregnant. Has the IUD gotten better?
