My week old baby boy has been fussing since last night crying won’t let me put him down restless. He started with just breast milk but I’ve been giving him more formula well because it’s easier and he sleeps a lot better seems more satisfied. I tried everything I could to sooth my poor baby and finally mid day today I figured out he was having tummy discomfort so I gave him some Mylicon gas drops rubbed his tummy did some leg exercises to help him get rid of gas. He finally made poop and calmed down and was able to sleep on my chest for a good four hours. This evening I’m actually able to put him down in the bassinet and no fussing or crying but idk how tonight will go! He’s been doing very good up till this point and I’m wondering if it was the formula or not. He woke frequently through the night and ate like every two hours at least two ounces and I feel that’s a lot but he showed signs of hunger sucking his hand looking for the bottle with his mouth. Anyone had this trouble with their little one and know exactly what the prob was?
