How to detect an early mis-carriage?

I don’t have a picture, but I passed a very big clot today and a bit smaller one too. I’m kinda overweight, but not too much. We are ttc from 8 months. We did it 4 times this cycle during my most fertile days. I get my periods very regularly with 28-30 day cycles and last for 4 days. I temp and use opk’s. They seem pretty synced up and I believe I ovulate.

The clot didn’t seem like regular one rather it looked more like a very thick and kinda slight bright reddish-white-ish blob. I couldn’t dare to take a picture. So I wonder if it would have been a mis carriage.
