So it looks like I am going to be a single mom. My soon to be ex-husband is a habitual liar and cheater. I am currently a SAHM since he is active duty military so I have nothing to my name. I have no idea where to begin in being a single mom, getting my own place, getting a job, etc. I didn’t go to college so I don’t have a degree either. To say I’m absolutely terrified is an understatement. I want what’s best for my kids and myself but I also don’t want to take them away from their dad. We currently live in VA but my family is in TX and from what I understand I have to get legal permission from the court to take them out of state and not have it considered kidnapping. Unfortunately that leaves me with no where to go and no help at all. He’s already told me that he will make my life a living hell and do everything in his power to make sure the kids can’t leave VA. I’m just ready to move on from him and start a new life and find someone who is truly all in for me. Where do I even begin?
