My fiance and I have a 7 month old son, my stepdaughter who is 10 years old on the weekends, a dog and cat and I got a call today saying he just got a puppy for free from a customer at his work. The first thing in my mind was WTF but then we've been talking about getting a dog for our dog since my old dog passed and she has been sad and lonely since and my fiance wants our son to have a dog to grow up with and I agree but I didnt really expect for us to get one TODAY 🥴 I'm excited, scared, extremely overwhelmed because not only am I taking care of our 7 month old who is learning to crawl I now have to train and potty train a puppy too. This puppy is really sweet he is quiet and just seems to go with the flow. He is a 4 month old border collie mcnab. I'm taking him in tomorrow to the vet's to get him checked out. He is good with our animals and our son but I'm still skeptical about him with my son (I'm just overprotective) lol.
