Does anyone have experience with Spina Bifida or other Neural Tube Defects.

My quad screening came back with an elevated level fora Neural Tube Defect. Our chances aren’t super high at 1 in 72. But our ultrasound came back with inconclusive results as baby was nuzzles up against the placenta and we couldn’t see the spine well enough. Other parts of baby look great (heart, brain, cord etc.).

Nervous, but also calm as I’m feeling like baby is fine. However, we are going back in 2 weeks to try again. And if that doesn’t work we will do a referral for the level 2 ultrasound. We are waiting on this though because we live on an Island and would need to travel by plane to get this done.
