So I’m getting married in a week 
We r super white so there’s no real wedding traditions like at an itialian wedding or a Greek wedding..... we r having 130 guests at a venue nearby so it’s not small but not crazy 
I picked my mom up from the airport on wed. It’s like a dark storm of nagging has arrived! 
She decided she didn’t like anything in store so she made her own dress. Well it has a train people!

Nothing I can do about it or she will lose her mind and its not worth it but just....... REALLY MOM?!?! 
When I told her our “ring security” whose just under two was going to drive a power wheels corvette down the aisle she said. “Why would u want another persons child stealing the show?”

Ok LINDA shes two and adorable!!!!!! She’s already going to steal the show! Also my husband and I met when we were working as mechanics for GMC n my first job was to rebuild a corvette so we think it’s perfect! 
Also she can’t steal the show people r there to see the bride and groom get married!!!!! 
Ergh! My mom and I are exactly like Lorelei and her mom from Gilmore girls!

It’s just annoying lol. I’d be annoyed too. I think it’s rude she didn’t even ask you if her dress she was making was ok. Moms are usually considered part of the wedding party, so she should’ve gotten her dress idea approved.

I personally wouldn’t mind with my mom 😂 I would want her to be a guest that stands out over anyone else I think and hey we’d be kind of matching! 
Haha but as you said, she won’t steal your thunder, you’re the bride! If she’s reasonable, you can always ask her to change?

My mom likes to be center of attention. Every time I got my hair done, she’d tried to copy or want people to comment on hers 🙄. 
This is why I’m strongly suggesting a courthouse wedding to my boyfriend. It’s bad enough my mother wants to do things her way baby shower wise.

It's a little weird. But no one is going to hold that against you. 
If your mom is trying to control your wedding then you have every right to set boundaries with her. As for the toddler, "Well this is what my fiance and I want. It's already been decided so this isn't open for discussion."
