I always told myself I’d never date anything who has anything to do with drugs, weed not included 😂 but any other drug is a hard pass. Well my boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years now and a few months into our relationship he told me about his drug abuse. He was an addict for 2 years, he was doing all sorts of stuff and a lot of them. He was popping pills like tic tacs. He said he didn’t wanna tell me when we met because he liked me and he thought I wouldn’t have dated him if he told me about it, but he didn’t want to lie to me so he had to come clean even though that meant losing me. Which I admitted to, I wouldn’t have took the risk of him relapsing or being in stuck in shady business with God knows who. But having getting to know him for him and not his past, I couldn’t care less now. He’s the most amazing man I’ve ever met and I wouldn’t change a thing between us. He told me he only quit them a month before we met and because he fell for me, he had a reason to keep him clean. He cut off everyone he was hanging out with and if he ever sees them he keeps it casual even though they are still pushing coke and others on him.
