I find myself on the verge of a breakdown today as my seven month old sits on the floor screaming & crying because she is overly tired and has refused to nap for the last two days. Nothing could have prepared me for what it would be like being a stay at home mom I did not get this opportunity with my first born who is now 10 years old. Nobody prepares you for the isolation & the constant feeling of loneliness I sometimes wonder if given up my nursing career was worth it & with that thought comes the mom guilt!
