I received my state refund how long does it usually take to receive federal after that?

Just curious But how long after my state should I expect my federal? Would it be a few days after? I don’t know if it makes a difference with us claiming our kids, they say when you have kids you receive it faster I don’t know

Usually we get federal first and then state.

Go to irs.gov and check your refund status. I don’t think the federal return as anything to do with when you get your state. Once it’s accepted you get the money pretty quickly. I got mine on the 12th like a week and a half after I filed I think.
