Is it okay to go back and forth from breastmilk to formul ?

My baby is 10 days old. I make enough breastmilk but only every like 4-6 hours and she needs to eat every hour and a half - 2 hours so in between she will have formula. Or if I’m passed out and my husband has her he will feed her formula all night instead of waking me up . Is this okay for her and her stomach ? She also like the formula better but I still want her to be having some breastmilk

Yes it’s perfectly ok as long as she’s getting fed. Just watch out for signs of gasiness, you might need to switch formulas if that one doesn’t quite work. 
Also (just a suggestion, not sure if you are doing this) the more you put baby on your breast, the more milk you make. Good luck either way.

It’s perfectly ok, but going back and forth isn’t necessary. I’d try to avoid it if you want to breastfeed long term. It’ll actually hinder your own milk production and could cause nipple confusion. If you put your baby on the breast when they’re hungry (even if its every 2 hours or whatever), they’ll get plenty to eat, even if you don’t feel like your breasts are full. 
Ultimately, fed is best, so do what you feel is right for you and your little one! 🥰

It’s fine for the baby but will make breastfeeding harder, especially if you’re going all night without feeding or pumping.

Its probably more that she gets full faster with formula. Bottles are a lot faster than nipples which can also cause more gas. It is fine to do both. Better to mix though.
