Boston IVF Portland ME- test results?

Ha

Hannah

We are in the initial testing phase. My husband had his semen analysis done Monday, I had my CD3 blood work done today, and will have the ultrasound testing next week. I am not scheduled till late March to talk about results and next steps. Is this common for those of you going through the initial testing to find out what's up? Any chance they post results in the portal prior to the meeting to talk about results... I feel like the wait is going to kill me..

Thanks!

My husband and I just did all of our testing with Boston IVF at their NH office. My follow up is at the beginning of March but I went on the patient portal the other day (about a week or so) after all of my CD 3 testing and it was on there. My husbands semen analysis was about a week ago but that isn’t on there as of yet. Like you, I was so anxious to think about having to wait until a month later to know the results. My AMH is low for my age so now I’m obsessively looking online about that but my other results look normal based on what I’ve found. Just anxiously awaiting for the follow up to make a plan with the doctor but also kind of glad I’m having some time to process everything on my own. Hope this helps✨✨✨

Ugh it’s so hard to have all of this info and not go crazy reading about it. But I’ve noticed the same thing... it doesn’t seem like the low AMH impacts the ability to get pregnant... more the amount of medications you may need in an IVF cycle. How was your antral follicle count?

@Jillian my last result just got posted to the portal. My AMH is extremely low (.52).... Feel you there on a frantically researching... Seems this score value has many thought processes on its validity and impact, which isn't helpful. Best of luck!

I have only seen Dr. Lannon at Boston IVF South Portland, but my co-worker actually used InterMed for her testing and IUI and loved every minute of it. I have only had one consult, and one in office procedure with Dr. Lannon, but I am not sold. I felt like he is a very "you get pregnant or you don't, and then we jump right to prcedures". I was hoping for a little more guidance about lifestyle changes that could help boost my chances, but rather got responses that "really unhealthy people get pregnant all the time, even drug addicts". I beleive his message he was TRYING to get across was to understand that it's fairly out of my control and I should let myself off the hook instead of playing the blame game.
