How do I store Cauliflower?

I bought a head of Cauliflower at the store for snacking with some ranch dressing. How do I store it? Do I rinse it under the tap before storing it? I've googled it but getting mixed answers.

I typically store in fridge in the grocery bag then rinse in tap water before serving

I always cut up and wash my veggies then store them in a sealed bag/container in the fridge to easily pull out for snacking

What I do is that I blanch the cauliflower by boiling the florets a few minutes and immediately put it in a bowl with cold water and ice to stop the cooking process then sealing it in a plastic bag then to the freezer. This prevents the lost of nutrients and it can last up to 6 months.
