It's a family name it's my husband's dads name and he insists on naming our son Gayland Oliver after him. But I think in today's age Gailand might be a more suitable spelling for the name. I am not a fan but my husband refuses to give our son any other name he doesnt mind changing the spelling to Gailand to make it more suitable in today's world.
