Implanon question?

So it's been 3 years since I had my implanon put in. Its awesome! No periods for me while it is in... my question though. My periods have started to come back.. not as heavy or anything but just a couple of days a month. Does this happen to anyone else? I know I need to make a drs appointment to get it removed and re-evaluate. I know I want to put another one in. I'm kinda scared of what's gunna happen when they take it out. Any advice?

I had the implanon for 2 years and didn’t get any periods at all. Then I started feeling nauseous so I got it removed. I never got a normal period after having it removed so I went to the gyno. They then diagnosed me with a severe hormonal imbalance and said it probably wasn’t related to bc but I think it was 😒

Taking it out is easy and wasn’t painful for me. I had a really bad reaction to the implant, and my body immediately went to normal when it was taken out. As in what it was before the implant was put into in, so don’t stress about it. Your period is probably coming back since the hormones are wearing off and you need a new one.
