Hey y’all. I’m Katy. Just got this app but have been TTC for over six months now. Just recently began using Ovulation testing kits. I finally got a positive ovulation test this evening. Luckily we had sex yesterday and then of course today, and from what I understand probably should tomorrow as well. Was at the doctor today and she did blood work for hormones, progesterone and a follicle something g or another test. Anxiously awaiting those results but it could be up to two weeks before I hear anything. Will return to the doctor in Tuesday for a papsmear and pelvic exam and then my doctor said we would probably do some ultrasounds (pelvic, uterus and ovaries) some time soon after that. I have two wonderful bonus kids that we have full time and I am the primary care taker. I love these boys as if the were my own but when I entered the pictured he oldest was 13 and youngest was 2 so I just am aching-no dying, for the opportunity to experience the whole thing from conception to birth and on. I have a rare genetic condition as well as many chronic autoimmune diseases and have been told by doctors in the past that it’s possible I may not be able to conceive so this whole process has me reeling and extremely emotional. Just not sure I can stand the heartbreak of bad news. Would love to connect with others going through similar (or different!) struggles. ❤️
