Ok so our 4 year old daughter thinks daddy just isn’t enough. She thinks he can’t do anything as good as me, like putting chapstick on or his cuddles are as good as mommy cuddles etc. she even says a friend she hardly sees is her favorite, not daddy she said. It’s getting to the point her words are hurting and she doesn’t want much to do with him even tho he spends his evenings playing with her. We have tried talking and explaining how words hurt and how would she like it if someone told her that and she says she wouldn’t like it but it’s not working. Any advice? Is it just a phase?

Also she does spend all day with me but evenings before bed are family time So she does get to spend time with him.
