She is here
Our baby girl turned onto a February baby, we already expected since I started going onto labor at 30 weeks.
I hd a High risk pregnancy due to the fact that I have just one lung and breathing disorders. Since We turned 32 weeks we had been in and out of the hospital almost everyday doing tests, labor checks and multiple consults.
My OB took me out of work end of January and the plan was to induce me at 37 weeks since we didn’t think my body would be able to go through labor if baby was too big and C section is dangerous with all the drugs and my breathing. On monday I started feeling very week and almost passed out a couple of times when I tried to walk to stand for more than 2-3 minutes my OB decided I need to stay in the hospital but since I had a appointment with my lung doctor on Wednesday the discharged me to go and come back after. Turns out my heart rate was 155 when I got there and they quickly decided my body couldn’t tolerate more and I had to had a C-section that day.
Baby had 2 rounds of steroids shots so we were hopeful she wouldn’t need much help breathing. She was born on 02/13 at 9:30pm weighting 4lbs15ounces and she is 17.32 inches. She is abs amazing and we are in love. I couldn’t see her until last night because I had to be taken to ICU after the C-section and they also took her to NICU right away because she needed some help breathing at first.
Yesterday I was able to get up and onto a wheelchair to go see her. She is breathing on her own and also bottle feeding. My little rockstar is doing great 💕
