UPDATE:

I unfortunately have to stay until 37 weeks or unless bp spikes again and I get induced. My doctor is awesome and is letting me go down in the lobby to visit my daughter :) I can't leave because they are afraid my bp will raise and I will stroke out or baby will be affected by the time I get back.

help, I'm struggling. I was admitted straight from my regular appointment to labor and delivery for high levels of protein and high bp. I have gotten two steroid shots and am constantly being monitored and was told 37 week induction unless something happens to justify earlier like bp being 160/ 105. I reached 162/102 but that doesn't qualify yet. The hospital is on flu restriction so my 2 year old daughter can't visit and I left her during her nap not knowing this would happen. It went from 6 hours monitoring to 12 to the whole weekend to possibly until 37 weeks...I can't not see my daughter for that long. I'm getting depressed and anxious and I'm wondering if anyone else has been through this. Baby is doing well, almost 6 pounds already and measuring a week ahead.
