Cluster feeding??

Hello my 6 days old has been feeding every hour from about midnight to 5 or 6 am.. he did the same on night 2 and 3.. could this be cluster feeding ?? Or maybe he’s not getting enough breast milk? Any experience with this?? Thank you.

Not cluster feeding, normal feeding for a newborn though. They can eat every hour for the first couple of weeks. Cluster is basically on boob for hours straight. 10 hours in my case.

My baby has been doing the same thing, she’s a week old. As long as they are getting the right amount of wet and dirty diapers then that’s a good indication that they are getting enough milk!

It's cluster feeding. It's normal and important but exhausting.

Yep. It can be draining but keep it up. It doesn’t mean you aren’t producing enough.
