I just found out I was pregnant on Tuesday! I have a 9 year old and I have always said I want another baby but when the timing was perfect. I had my first baby at 15 so I should’ve known there is never a perfect time!

I have spent the latter part of last year and the beginning of this year working on getting weight loss surgery, VSG. I completed every single step, got insurance approval and was just waiting on a call with my consultation date.

I have been on birth control, the mini pill, since August of last year. I never missed one pill. Anyways I was super excited to have my surgery and everything because my sister is getting married this year and I wanted to look as good as possible for her wedding! And also to be a healthy enough weight to conceive/birth/take care of a new baby in the next year or so.

This past week I have had major symptoms such as constipation, weird taste in mouth, and bad boob pain. So just for piece of mind I decided to take the test at the bottom. I saw it and kinda freaked but was like “this janky Walmart equate test is LYING” so I literally RAN to Walgreens to get a first response and sure enough the line came up and then the digital.

It’s been a big shift in my household as we were preparing for a different kind of immediate future but nonetheless we are still happy and are trusting everything will work out as it should.
