I've had my IUD in for over a year (September will be 2 years this year) and so far it's been pretty great, I've rarely had a period with it which is very nice. So it's not unusual for me to go a few months without a period or feeling any symptoms of a period coming. But lately I've been feeling pms symptoms (bloating, cramps, acne) so I thought I might be getting a period but nothing has come yet, no spoting or anything yet but I've been having severe cramps that I've had to take it easy and keep a heating pad on to help it. I thought I should be bleeding by now if I was getting a period? Is this normal? Should I contact my doctor? Does it need to come out? I don't want to keep feeling like a period is coming but nothing comes :(
