When to announce?

Just curious when you announced baby? Our 13wk US went great but with our history I wouldn’t feel “safe” until our anatomy US.

I'm waiting until we have a successful 16 week scan, as our loss was a MMC at 17 weeks and due to the placenta not working fully. My parents and my closest friend already know.

We announced at 19 weeks to close family. It was just before our anatomy scan. We had a good result of the NIPT test and I could feel him moving since a couple of weeks then, which made us secure enough (although I was going back and forth whether to delay it a bit more). We told our friends after the anatomy scan. We don’t announce on social media or anything.

We announced to family at 12 weeks (it was New Years Eve so it felt appropriate) and yesterday we announced on social media (18 weeks). I haven’t had my anatomy scan yet but all the genetic testing is clear so I feel confident.
