born 16tg July what age? what u think and what this app says are total different?

Your baby is seven months today. Months are counted from the date itself (so on the 16th of each month). 
Your baby’s age can also be counted in weeks, which is from the day he was born (so if he was born on Tuesday, each Tuesday he is a week older). 
Months have different numbers of days in them, but weeks are all seven days, so they don’t perfectly correspond. 
Do they not teach this concept in schools? It seems like a lot of people on here are confused by it.

He will turn a month older every month on the date he was born on. My son was born on July 3rd, he turned 7 months old on February 3rd.

My baby was born on the 16th so is 7mth tomorrow. This app currently says 6mths 30 days which sounds about right.
