Confusion.. 1st IUI

This is my first go round with IUI and I'm confused. I also used clomid, had a spike on Day 12 of my cycle and went in and had my IUI this last Tuesday. However my glow app appears to say I am ovulating this week and have a higher chance this week... I am assuming it is safe to say I should go with what the doctors tell me to count since it is a "chemical" cycle? I'm so just so scared that I missed the boat or did it to early... I sound super dumb I know... but I have been trying for 10 years naturally sooo I really want this!
