Your parents are probably going to be concerned about your safety so let them ask questions and make sure you have answers. You do need to talk to them, I don't think you should hide it.

Personally I would freak if my daughter was 14 and told me she was in a LDR, especially with someone she’s only met once on a cruise. There is so much more below the surface, than just meeting someone one time. Nope, nope, and nope.
