Am I the only person who does NOT want to wear a dress for the baby shower?

I said fuck it and wore leggings, just a normal shirt (maternity but still) and my favorite sneakers. My mom said "it's your party, the most important thing is for you to be happy and comfortable" and was fully supportive lol. I'm glad I did.

I didn't exactly want to, but i wanted to look nice and i don't have any pants that fit and baby is so low now that he's dropped that no shirt properly covers my bump 😂 I'm too cheap to buy maternity pants, especially now at 36 weeks. My shower was today (2/15) so i wore a dress mostly for comfort. Lol

The best part ....you don’t have to!!  I wore black leggings, black top with a cute scarf and knit leg warmers with leather low boots.

For my baby shower 2 years ago since we didn’t know gender I bought a white shirt that had both pink and blue flowers and wore it with jeans then flat sandals. I was comfortable the whole time and didn’t mind bending and moving around to open gifts. Never needed to worry about what my guests were seeing or what a camera may capture. I also did this for my bridal shower 4 years ago. My mom bought a dress with her since it was a surprise to me but I ended up staying in the outfit I showed up in.
