If your baby is already walking, did you practice with them lots?

we never practiced, I don't think its something you can really teach, they just take off lol

I read the poll wrong 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ we didn’t practice she just did it on her own! Now we try and let her walk as much as possible. At home it’s free reign but when we’re out we try and let her go as much as we can!

My LO walks if she's holding on to something but she's still scared to let go. I think it will happen soon though.

He takes 5-7 steps at a time and then goes back to crawling. But does that multiple times a day. We’re so close!

I said practiced daily but not because I make him. He loves using his little push toy, or anything that acts as a push toy, and insists I hold his hand so he can walk all over. He isn't walking all the time but he can stand up from sitting and make it across a room. And he's so proud of himself when he does.

We practiced for about 10 minutes a day (scattered through out the day). He is now almost running. He doesn't crawl unless he wants to get somewhere quick. Send help.

Mines walking on her own already and we’ve practiced every day for the past month or so. Basically I try to get her to walk wherever she wants to go. I also make time if we’re at the mall or at a coffee shop for her to walk around the new places. She loves it and now associates exploring new environments with walking.
