When to go to ER for possible dehydration?

I’m now 12weeks 5 days and just started having morning sickness which includes a lot of vomiting. Just curious when I should go to the hospital for possible dehydration? I’ve been up for 5 hours now and haven’t been able to keep any water down and starting to get a little nervous.

My doctor says You need to keep in at least 1 liter of water in your body. You’ll feel extremely fatigued and weak. Those IVs at the hospital maybe be intimidating at first but they help SO much. 
It hasn’t hit me quite as badly this time though I’m constantly vomity as well. I was hospitalized for HG during my last 2 pregnancies.

Yes call your OB or L&D and see what they recommend.

Call labor and delivery and ask! It never hurts to call and they can tell you what to look for.

I would say go. I waited 3 weeks and when I went I was severely dehydrated, they couldn’t stick me because all my veins were flat due to being dehydrated. They stuck me over 7 times 😩 after I received the fluids I feel so much better and I haven’t really threw up. It’s like once a day now

I know when you're not pregnant, a good test is the skin turgor test. Pinch your skin up, if it doesn't bounce back right away you're definitely dehydrated. But I suspect in pregnancy you may want to get it looked at before it gets to that point? I'm in British Columbia, Canada and we have a provincial health line you can call for free advice from a nurse, dietician, or couple other health professionals. My first step would be to call them before going into the ER during flu season. 
If you don't have something like that, then my doctor has always told me to go see a doctor whenever I have any concerns and let the professionals decide if there's something to worry about.
