A little confused

I’m on CD31 and AF should show up any day, but this morning I woke up with a lot of stretchy kind of thick and cloudy discharge. I’ve never got it before AF before. This is the first month I didn’t do OPK’s (of course 🙄). Does anyone know what could cause that? Could I really be ovulating this late?? Also, my periods are always regular.
